Depok, Ministry of Elementary and Secondary Education – In commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of the Ministry of Elementary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) presents a Creative Gymnastics Competition at the Ministry of Elementary and Secondary Education's Human Resource Development Center (PPSDM) Building in Depok City, West Java. This year, the creative gymnastics competition carries the theme "Healthy Synergy in the Spirit of the 81st Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia: Women Move, Indonesia Advances."
In her remarks, the Advisor to the DWP of the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, Masmidah Abdul Mu'ti, said that the theme was not just a sentence, but a strong message to create a healthy family and a harmonious environment, and that the active participation of women could make the Indonesian nation move forward.
"This theme is not just a sentence, but a powerful message for all of us. As women, especially members of the DWP, we play a vital and harmonious role. When women take action to be healthy, to be creative, and to work, this nation will continue to move forward," said Masmidah.
Furthermore, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, Suharti, said that women must actively participate and have the power to contribute to building the country in order to achieve a demographic bonus in Indonesia, considering that the percentage of women in Indonesia is at a balanced figure of around 50 percent.
"Women must be empowered, women must take action. Otherwise, there will be no demographic bonus. The demographic bonus will only happen if, and only if, women participate," explained Suharti.
This Creative Gymnastics Competition was attended by members of the DWP within the Ministry of Elementary and Secondary Education.
