Jakarta, September 4, 2026 — Laughter, creativity, and camaraderie colored the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) Employee Gathering (Makrab) as part of the 81st Anniversary of Indonesian Independence commemoration. Beneath the joyous atmosphere, lurked an important message: togetherness is the energy that strengthens the spirit of service to the community and the nation.
Minister of Primary and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen), Abdul Mu'ti, invited the entire Kemendikdasmen family to maintain the friendly and joyful atmosphere created during the event. According to him, togetherness is not only crucial for building a positive work environment but also a strength in carrying out the task of educating the nation. "We are all happy, we are all cheerful. And this is the atmosphere we need to build together," Abdul Mu'ti said in Jakarta (September 3).
He stated that the commemoration of Independence Day is a moment to celebrate the struggles of the heroes who led Indonesia to independence. This independence should then be filled with work and real contributions to the nation's progress.
For the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, one way to fulfill this independence is by providing the best educational services to the public. Abdul Mu'ti also encouraged all employees to use the various achievements and public appreciation for education as motivation to continuously improve their performance. "We remain enthusiastic about working even better. We are passionate about providing the best for the community and the nation, dedicated to educating the nation," he said.
Furthermore, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu'ti also expressed his gratitude for the high level of public satisfaction with education, as reflected in a survey on public satisfaction with government performance. He stated that this appreciation is both a result to be grateful for and a responsibility to continue improving. "And we should all strive to be even better in the future," he said.
The Ministry of Education and Culture's Employee Friendship Night provided a space for all employees to unwind from their work routines through various performances and creative activities. The event also demonstrated the spirit of togetherness as one extended family at the Ministry of Education and Culture.
Furthermore, Minister of Elementary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu'ti expressed his appreciation to all employees who contributed to the success of the series of Independence Day celebrations, including the lively Night of Friendship. "Let's maintain our togetherness and joy as the extended family of the Ministry of Elementary and Secondary Education," he concluded.*** (Writer: Ririn/Photographer: Rayhan, Morecka)
