Bolaang Mongondow Regency, North Sulawesi, August 15, 2026 – The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) officially launched Integrated National Schools (SNT) in 17 locations across Indonesia. One of these locations is located in the northern corner of Indonesia, Bolaang Mongondow Regency, North Sulawesi Province.
SNT 13 Bolaang Mongondow now offers a new hope for North Sulawesi students to achieve success, develop their potential, and set goals for the future. This hope was also shared by Al Fizrah Hasan, a current student at SNT 13 Bolaang Mongondow.
Speaking of achievements, Fizrah is a student with a track record of winning in mathematics. Over the past two years, she won second place in the 2024 National Science Olympiad (OSN) in Mathematics at the Bolaang Mongondow Regency level and first place in the 2025 OSN in Mathematics at the Bolaang Mongondow Regency level.
By attending SNT 13 Bolaang Mongondow, Fizrah continues to pursue her dreams through constant practice, study, and discipline. Her motivation for enrolling in SNT is simply the hope of improving her academic performance amidst adequate educational facilities and teaching staff.
"By attending SNT, I feel I can improve my academic performance. With the support of tutors and excellent facilities, I'm confident those achievements will reach even higher levels," said Fizrah.
Wahyu Mokodongan expressed the same enthusiasm. Like Fizrah, Wahyu also boasts a wealth of sporting achievements. In 2025, he broke into the North Sulawesi squad for a national-level soccer tournament.
With quality educational facilities and mentors, Wahyu now feels he has the opportunity to improve his achievements at the national and even international levels. "I hope to receive full support from the school and be facilitated to improve my achievements in the future," Wahyu said.
Reflecting on the enthusiasm of these two SNT students, the Principal of SNT 13 Bolaang Mongondow, Budiardjo Mamonto, believes that each student's potential grows from their environment. Therefore, mapping student characteristics is a crucial part of SNT's efforts to provide learning tailored to their needs and life contexts.
"From a cognitive perspective, a number of students demonstrate good development of naturalist intelligence. They tend to understand material more easily through real-world experiences, field practice, and contextual learning than through purely abstract approaches. This is a consideration for schools in designing learning experiences that are more relevant to students' lives," explained Budiardjo.
"Through adaptive and flexible learning strategies, schools strive to ensure that the diversity of backgrounds, geographic conditions, and potential of each student does not become a barrier to learning, but rather becomes a strength in creating relevant, meaningful learning that can optimally develop their potential," he added.
In this regard, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen) Abdul Mu'ti stated that SNT is part of President Prabowo Subianto's priority program, which aims to provide superior educational services to Indonesian children with exceptional abilities and talents, both in academics and in sports, the arts, and other areas of excellence.
"SNT exists to fulfill the right to education for children with exceptional potential. We hope that SNT will become part of a complementary educational ecosystem, providing more targeted services for children with exceptional abilities and talents," concluded the Minister of Elementary and Secondary Education.*** (Author: Destian/Documentation: Ministry of Elementary and Secondary Education Team)
